Pollution control test systems - all Renault factories

Pollution control stations measure vehicle pollution levels at the end of the production line, and compare them to standards.

The vehicle to test is driven onto a chassis dynamometer, and a person behind the wheel follows the instructions of a “driving guide”; the exhaust is fed into bags for later analysis.

The test bed is managed by a Windows PC. During the test, the PC controls the chassis dynamometer and the computer for managing the driving guide. At the end of the test, the PC captures the measured data and publishes the results.
