M51 missile test bed

This project, part of the development of the M51 missile, concerns a test bed for the implementation of firing sequences.

It involves both sequencing the firing phases and synchronizing the various systems (electrical commissioning, submarine resources, etc.) required to deploy the missile.

The hardware for the system is based on an industrial PC with I/O boards from National Instruments, as well as a time management board. We developed a custom interface chassis for the project.

The system's software is based on Panorama E² supplemented by a hierarchical sequencer. We developed a proprietary protocol based on TCP/IP for interfacing with the various external systems.

Codra also developed the supervisor and simulators for the various external systems.
A dozen of these devices are in use at the EADS and DGA sites.
